My family was previously given this as a gift and kept it in storage.

The "Bruant Ambassador" cufflinks are based on a poster advertising Aristide Bruant, a traditional chanson singer, when he performed at the Parisian luxury cabaret "Ambassadeur." The bold composition and flat colors of the design are reminiscent of ukiyo-e prints.
